LANSING, MI — Lansing’s favorite holiday tradition, Silver Bells in the City, kicks off the Michigan’s holiday season in November and promises to be bigger and brighter than ever, according to organizers.
The annual Silver Bells in the City is set for Friday Nov. 17. The event typically attracts more than 40,000 people to Michigan’s capital city and features the ever-popular Electric Light Parade with Lansing’s own India Graham serving as Grand Marshal.
The parade steps off at 6:00 p.m. from the corner of Lenawee Street and South Washington Square. More than 70 units, special guests, and several high school marching bands, will sparkle with thousands of lights as they make their way through the streets of downtown Lansing.
The lighting of the official state Christmas Tree will follow the parade along with a drone light show and fireworks.
