Man found dead in Portage, police call the death “suspicious”

PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Authorities have not yet released the name of a man found dead Saturday in a Kalamazoo County ditch. P

The Portage Department of Public Safety says the body was discovered along Long Lake Drive in Portage at around 4:20 p.m. by someone walking in the area.

The man’s cause of death has not yet been determined, but a news release Sunday called the death “suspicious.”
