KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo County Animal Control is now requiring people to schedule animal surrenders as they are dealing with overcrowding. Director Chad Ensign says the online reservation will encourage pet owners to find someone to give their pet to instead of giving it to the shelter. He says resources are stretched too thin and they are trying to come up with a better way to manage the flow.
