BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A busy Battle Creek intersection will turn into a four way stop this week.
Crews for the City of Battle Creek are scheduled to to temporarily remove the traffic signals at the intersection of Helmer and Beckley Roads on Monday in order to perform maintenance on them.
During this time, they will place temporary stop signs at the intersection, so it will operate as an all-way stop.
It’s expect the signals to be back at the intersection by the end of the week in their modified construction operations.
Drivers are being asked to be alert for this traffic change.
Meanwhile, the Beckley Road water main installation project continues, and is still on track for completion in mid- to late-November.
