THREE RIVERS, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of the teenage girl from Three Rivers who was killed earlier this week in a car-pedestrian accident on U.S. 131 near Broadway Road.
The pedestrian who was struck and killed was identified as 16-year-old Emma Jean Thomas.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office has still not released any details about the accident which was reported just before 10:30 p.m. on Monday night.
They only say the pedestrian succumbed to her injuries and that the driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Deputies were assisted by the Three Rivers Police and Fire Departments, the Fabius Park Fire Department, Shears Wrecker Service and the St Joseph County Victim Services Unit.
