BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Two persons were injured Wednesday night in a crash involving a motorcycle and a car at Capital Avenue SW and Columbia Avenue in Battle Creek. Battle Creek firefighters discovered the motorcyclist was under the vehicle and a passenger in the car was pinned inside after the crash happened just before 11 p.m..
Crews freed the injured persons and due to the severity of the injuries, BCFD sent two firefighters in the ambulances to continue assisting.
Battle Creek Police were on the scene investigating. LifeCare Ambulance transported the patients.
The motorcyclist was a 30-year-old Battle Creek man. The passenger in the car was a 38-year-old man from Battle Creek. They were both in critical condition at the scene of the accident, and that is the latest report police have.
