PAW PAW, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force says a 41-year-old Paw Paw man has been arrested for possession of child sexually abusive material.
Bryan James Koviak was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his residence. The investigation stemmed from an undercover investigation into his online activity involving the possession and dissemination of child sexual exploitation material.
Koviak was charged with aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned Monday in Van Buren County’s the 7th District Court. If convicted, Koviak faces up to 20 years in prison for the charge of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.
