MARSHALL, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A house fire early Friday morning in Marshall took the lives of two men and two dogs.
The fire broke out at about 2:30 a.m. in the area of North Fountain and Arms Street.
Fire and thick black smoke engulfed a portion of the first floor and the home’s entire second floor.
The Marshall Fire Department says the two men and two dogs were found dead inside of the home after the fire was put out.
The ages of the men were 39 and 20. As of early Friday afternoon, their identities had not been released.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
