SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The City of South Haven will take a step back in time this weekend, as it hosts the annual Antique Engine and Tractor Show.
Organizers say the show, which runs Thursday through Sunday, celebrates Michigan’s agricultural history and background. It is sponsored and presented by the Michigan Flywheelers Museum, a non-profit organization.
It is one of the largest antique tractor shows in the Midwest and it typically draws from 8,000 to 10,000 attendees every year. This is the 40th anniversary of this event.
Hundreds of antique tractors and steam engines will be on display, along with an operating steam powered sawmill and shingle mill, authentic operating blacksmith shop, vintage farm equipment, conveniences and memorabilia. There will also be live bands, food, a flea market, and other entertainment.
The show takes place at the Michigan Flywheelers showgrounds on 68th Street just south off Phoenix Road, South Haven. Gates open daily at 8:00 a.m.
