KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Lawton man accused of fatally stabbing of his ex-girlfriend has had his case bound over to Kalamazoo County Circuit Court.
Kalamazoo County Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jeff Williams says Jeff Kucharski Thursday waived his preliminary hearing after a judge found him mentally competent to stand trial.
Kucharski is accused of stabbing to death 28-year-old Taylor Dragicevich of Galesburg outside of her mother’s apartment May 20, 2023.
Police say he was found the following day hiding in an attic in Lawton with a large, blood-stained knife. They say a car registered to the Lawton address also had a pair of bloody rubber gloves inside.
After ending their eight-year relationship in March 2023, Dragicevich filed for a personal protection order against Kucharski. He reportedly violated that order twice before her death.
This POS deserves life in prison with no parole. He is the embodiment of evil.
