Battle Creek Police conducting murder investigation on North Union, few details released

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Battle Creek Police Department is not releasing a lot of information at this time about a murder investigation.

The Detective Bureau and Crime Lab were at the scene of a shooting Thursday night that resulted in the murder of a 31-year-old Battle Creek man.

Battle Creek Police say the shooting happened in the first block of North Union Street near East Emmett, in the northeast part of the city.

A statement from the Police Department said they will provide relevant updates as this investigation continues.
