PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Chapel Hill Church in Portage is holding a fundraiser to help pay for damage done to their LED sign August 20 after it was shot with a hunting arrow.
The sign has a Pride Progress flag displayed most consistently and will cost nearly two-thousand-dollars to repair.
They have raised over $800 on GoFundMe as of early this morning with a goal of $1,750.
The city says they condemn violence and discrimination against the LGBTQ community and will work to secure equality and fairness for all.
