ANN ARBOR, MI — There is no internet at all three University of Michigan campuses today on what s the first day of fall classes, according to officials.
Internet connectivity is out and student email service unavailable at the Ann Arbor, Dearborn and Flint campuses. The shutdown began around 1:45 p.m. Sunday, according to the university’s information and technology services department. The incident could be malicious in nature, they say, caused by outside sources.
The school says the issue has affected the university’s Google and email services, as well as the Wolverine Access and Canvas services that provide information and access for classes and its materials. In-person classes are going on as scheduled today.
