BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A fire in an abandoned house at 23 Boardman Avenue in Battle Creek on Saturday night is being treated as an arson by Battle Creek fire investigators.
The Battle Creek Fire Department was dispatched at 6:22 p.m..
First arriving crews found smoke showing from the front porch. The fire was immediately extinguished.
Several areas inside the structure were also set on fire and smoldering. The structure is not occupied and was boarded up prior to this incident.
No injuries were reported. The intentionally set fires are being investigated by the Fire Marshal and the Battle Creek Police Department.
