EAST LANSING, MI — Survivors of sexual assault by former Michigan State University sports doctor Larry Nassar and their families are suing MSU over what they call secret decisions by the school board regarding releasing documents in the case. They are not seeking money but rather accountability in the lawsuit, according to those familiar with the suit.
MSU has refused says the over six-thousand documents pertaining to the sexual abuse are protected by attorney-client privilege. Nassar is serving 40 to 175 years in prison for the abuse done under the guise of medical treatment.
