BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – One of the largest convention organizations in the world has chosen the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek to
host the Jehovah’s Witnesses three-day global Convention.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused the organization to cancel its in-person conventions in 2020, prompting members to hold their convention programs virtually in more than 500 languages.
With the summer of 2023 marking their first they will gather together since the lifting of pandemic restrictions, Jehovah’s Witnesses spokesperson Joe Mosher expressed excitement for the upcoming convention by saying, “We are excited to be together again, and we couldn’t be happier to have our first convention in Battle Creek! The management of Kellogg Arena has been great to work with,” said Mosher.
Some 6,000 conventions will be held worldwide as part of the 2023 “Exercise Patience”! Convention series.
In the United States alone, more than 700 conventions will be held in 144 host cities.
