Motorists urged to seek alternate routes during Kilgore Road lane closure

PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Here’s a quick commuter tip for this Wednesday, following the July 4th holiday in the Kalamazoo and Portage area.

The eastbound curb lane of Kilgore will be closed for utility work beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5. This will be the curb lane located east of the South Westnedge Avenue intersection.

City officials say to expect traffic delays if traveling in the area and urge motorists to seek an alternate route.

Work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. on the same day.
