CASSOPOLIS MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Cass County authorities are continuing their investigation of an accident Tuesday afternoon in Porter Township.
Deputies were called to US 12 near Sunset Blvd. just after 12:30 pm, and discovered a three-vehicle accident.
Initial investigation found that a F-150 pickup driven by 50 year old Jason Thomas of White Pigeon had apparently lost control and struck two vehicles traveling on US 12.
One of the drivers of the vehicles struck, 45 year old Fawn Hickock of Palmyra, IN, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment.
Thomas, and the driver of the other vehicle that was struck, 42 year old Corey Lampley of Adrian, MI, were not injured.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash. Seat belts were worn during the crash.
