BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Police in Battle Creek are asking for the community’s help in finding a missing teenager.
They say 13-year-old Kyra Lynee Jones-Kelley has been missing since she left her Bedford Township home at around 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 15.
Police describe the missing teenager as 5’5” tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing black pants and a black shirt with lime-green Nike writing on it.
Authorities go onto say that the teen’s parents had received a suspicious message from her Facebook account since that time, leading them to believe she may be in danger.
It is possible she is staying in, or was taken to the Kalamazoo area.
