BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Battle Creek Police are seeking information and help from the community after an early Sunday morning shooting that happened in the North Central part of the city on June 11.
According to the Battle Creek Police Department, officers responded to the report of a shooting victim around 1:45 a.m. that morning in the area of Greenwood Avenue and North Kendall Street.
When they arrived, officers found that two victims had been shot during an outdoor gathering that involved a large crowd.
One victim was taken to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo and the other was taken to Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek. Authorities say both victims are believed to have non-life-threatening injuries.
So far, no suspects have been identified.
