CENTREVILLE, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the person who abandoned a Black Retriever/Lab style dog at the St. Joseph County Courthouse late Wednesday afternoon.
Undersheriff Jason Bingaman says a vehicle pulled into the west side parking lot at about 4:50 p.m.. It sat in the parking lot for about six minutes waiting for some other vehicles to leave before someone got out of the vehicle and opened the trunk.
The subject pulled out a small dog cage with the dog inside before driving off and leaving east bound.
