BC Fire Marshal looking into “suspicious fire” at Bryant Street home

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Battle Creek Fire Marshal is investigating what is being called a suspicious fire which broke out at 189 Bryant Street on Tuesday afternoon.

Tuesday’s fire was reported at about 3:40 p.m..

Firefighters found smoke showing from the two-story, boarded-up house when they arrived.

This was the location of a house fire on July 24, 2022. In that fire, firefighters rescued the homeowner from the second floor.

The fire on the first floor was put out and no occupants were located in the home following a search.
