PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 19-year-old Portage man is in custody after allegedly shooting at a man and a woman on Tuesday, May 23 over a domestic dispute from a couple weeks ago.
Portage Department of Public Safety Officers responded to the 6800 block of South Westnedge Avenue on a report of gun shots heard in a nearby parking lot, but were unable to locate anyone when they arrived.

The report was forwarded to the Kalamazoo County Prosecutor’s Office who issued two counts of assault with intent to murder, three counts of felony firearm, and one count of discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle.
Cox was arraigned in the 8th District Court on Wednesday with bond set at $250,000.
