KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The third Kalamazoo Lyceum is set to take place later this month.
The Lyceum is an organization created to bring people together to address topics on their shared humanity.
On Saturday, May 20, from 2 to 4 p.m., it will hold an event at the Kalamazoo Nature Center located at 7000 North Westnedge Avenue, discussing the question “What do we owe our local nature?”
“With Earth Day and Arbor Day happening in April, and the ever present concerns relating to our climate and environmental impact, we are excited to bring questions about our shared responsibility to nature to the Lyceum,” said Kalamazoo Lyceum founder and director, Matthew Miller.
In partnership with the Kalamazoo Nature Center, guests’ admission will include free entrance into the KNC indoor and outdoor areas.
After the Lyceum conversation, folks are encouraged to explore the exhibits, hike the trails, tour the sculptures in the arboretum, and more, as a part of the experience.
