EAST LANSING, MI — East Lansing is joining with Ann Arbor and Royal Oak to set up “No Mow May” for the month. The environmental initiative is meant to help bee populations and other pollonators, by giving them more possible nectar.
East Lansing is waiving its lawn height enforcement for the month, which normally only allows for six-inches of grass. “No Mow May” began as an environmental initiative in the UK.
