PAW PAW, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A mother accused of posting online threats to Paw Paw Public Schools is set to undergo a competency exam.
According to the Van Buren County Prosecuting Attorney’s office, Lisa Nam was supposed to appear in court on Wednesday, April 26 in relation to those threats.
Nam is accused of posting threats online back on Tuesday, April 11, which prompted an investigation by the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say Nam is charged with false reports or threat of terrorism and using a computer to commit a crime.
She is currently lodged at the Van Buren County Jail on a $750,000 bond, with a new court date pending the results of the exam.
