LANSING, MI — The early February killing of a man in south Lansing has led to two teenagers, including a 13-year boy, being charged in the murder, authorities said.
One teen, a 17-year-old, today was charged in adult court while the younger teen will be prosecuted as a juvenile so long as if he shows some progress in rehab, Ingham County Prosecutor John Dewane said in a news release.
Both boys are charged with second-degree murder and felony firearm possession, the prosecutor’s office said. Makhi Williams was shot in the vicinity of Osband and Lenore in the south end of Lansing.
