PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Calling her a “Living Jane Doe,” Michigan State Police from the Paw Paw Post are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who was found by a hiker in the Al Sabo Land Preserve in Texas Township near Portage Thursday.
Troopers say the woman was found around 6:00 p.m. and was transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo for medical care and evaluation.
Police or hospital works have not been able to effectively communicate with this person. They say numerous law enforcement and other state resources have also been deployed to help with identification, but all attempts have failed.
She is described as a black female, possibly in her 20s, 5’2”, 155lbs. She was carrying a garbage bag of clothing and had no identification.
