Kalamazoo man “unintentionally” hit by gunfire Wednesday afternoon

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A 70-year-old Kalamazoo man is recovering after he was shot inside his home late Wednesday afternoon.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says the man was hit “unintentionally” by the gunfire near Olive and Cameron Streets just after 5:30 p.m.

Several shell casings were found by police in the intersection and two homes and one vehicle were hit. No arrests have been made.
