SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – And what could have been a rather sticky situation was averted early Wednesday morning on I-196 in South Haven Township.
According to South Haven Area Emergency Services, a tanker carrying milk overturned on the northbound section of that road between M-140 and Phoenix Road.
Traffic heading northbound in that area was diverted for several hours.
Authorities say the tanker did not spill any of it’s contents and the driver was not injured.
The Michigan Department of Transportation reopened that section of I-196 just before 5 a.m.
