KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Michigan Department of Transportation is set to hold a public open house to discuss the draft US-131 Business Route noise study in Kalamazoo County.
The open house is scheduled for Monday, April 24 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the MDOT Kalamazoo Travel Service Center at 5372 9th Street.
MDOT officials say experts will be on hand to answer questions on the proposed project that includes the addition of two interchange ramps along with safety and environmental improvements.
MDOT is also seeking public input on the draft noise report. Comments can be submitted via an online comment form, e-mail, phone, and in person at the public meeting.
Comments must be provided by Monday, May 8.
