MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Marshall Township in Calhoun County has approved transferring the third of four parcels land to the city of Marshall for the Ford electric battery plant.
There is no word from the township when the fourth parcel will be voted on for the transfer to the city.
Supervisor Dave Bosserd was the only no vote last night, and says there needs to be a town hall for Ford and the Michigan Economic Development Agency to answer questions.
The land transferred last night is along Michigan Avenue and 13 Mile Road near the intersection of I-69 and I-94.
