MOUNT PLEASANT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Senior Alyssa Kramer’s home run was one of just two hits as the Western Michigan University softball team fell 11-2 at Central Michigan Sunday.
It was Kramer’s second home run of the season and the 15th of her career.
Joining Kramer with a lone hit for the Broncos was sophomore Payton Kelly who went 1-for-2. Kelly ripped a single up the middle in the top of the second to get on base just before Kramer homered.
The Broncos open up a four-game home stand at Ebert Field starting with a single game against Oakland Tuesday, April 18 followed by a three-game MAC series with Kent State April 21-22. The Broncos will open the series on Friday, April 21 with a single game at 3:00 p.m. followed by a doubleheader Saturday starting at 1:00 p.m..
