KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — TORNADO WATCH UNTIL 4 P.M. HAS BEEN DROPPED BY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. Flood advisory still remains in effect until 3:15 p.m.

The National Weather Service out of Grand Rapids has issued a tornado watch for a number of counties in Southwest Michigan until 4 p.m. this afternoon.
Forecasters say to be on the lookout for the possibility of developing tornadoes with this weather system in Allegan, Barry, Cass, Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren Counties.
And the National Weather Service has also issued a flood advisory for a few Southwest Michigan counties until 3:15 p.m. this afternoon.
Those counties affected include Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren.
Authorities warn that those needing to drive should watch out for flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, and should be especially careful when approaching pooling water in urban areas. The best advise they say, if it looks too deep, turn around.
