EAST LANSING, MI — The final Michigan State University student injured in a mass shooting in February has been released from Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital.
The student was discharged in stable condition after spending weeks in critical condition. The student has been sent to another facility for further rehabilitation. The February 13 shooting killed MSU students Arielle Anderson, Brian Fraser, and Alexandria Verner.
The university re-opened the MSU Union earlier this week after one of the students was shot and killed inside the building. The food court remains closed but other public areas of the building reopened on Monday. Berkey Hall, where two students were killed on February 13 remains closed.
