BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Battle Creek Police are investigating the death of a 44-year-old Battle Creek woman following a crossbow shooting incident on Sunday, April 2.
Authorities say police responded to a home in the 700 block of Capital Avenue Northeast after getting a call stating that a woman had been shot with a crossbow.
After arriving on scene, officers located 44-year-old Kori-Lee Moser, and confirmed that she had been shot and injured with a crossbow. After receiving medical care from first responders, Moser was transported to Bronson Battle Creek Hospital where she died from her injuries.
Police arrested and jailed the suspect who allegedly shot Moser with the crossbow.
Police say there is no known motive for the shooting at this time.
