REED CITY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Police have arrested a man who led officers on a chase in six counties yesterday.
They say he stole a Dodge Ram pick-up truck in Galesburg around 8:45 a.m. yesterday and Michigan State Police chased him from there, through Kalamazoo and Allegan counties on US-131, and ended their pursuit near US-131 and M-6 in Kent County.
Deputies from the Kent County Sheriff’s Office chased him in the northern part of the county as he remained on US-131, and he was finally caught in Reed City in Osceola County after police used stop sticks to blow his tires on US-131 near US-10.
He is lodged in the Osceola County Jail.
