Just over a week after devastating ice storm, area faces heavy snowfall, Winter Storm Warning

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Old Man Winter is not done yet, with heavy snow is predicted from the Upper Midwest to New England today.

Kalamazoo County and the surrounding area is under a Winter Storm Warning from 2:00 p.m. Friday until 4:00 a.m. Saturday, with snowfall totals of over six likely, and wind gusts of up to 35 miles per hour are possible. Snow could fall at a rate of one inch per hour at times.

The line of the storm goes from South Haven northeast to the Thumb area.
