KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Western Michigan University is set to announce a couple of new agreements today, as they continue to compete with other colleges for a dwindling pool of students nationwide.
A new agreement with Kalamazoo Valley Community College to be signed today will make it easier for students going to the two year school to transfer credits to the four year school.
WMU’s aviation school will also announce a new agreement with an airline to give students an inside track to make the transfer from the classroom to a real job.
The program, based at Battle Creek’s airport, has had similar arrangements with Emirates Airline and Delta in the past.
