PARIS, FRANCE (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Pistons square off with the Chicago Bulls today in Paris in their first-ever game in France.
Game time is 3:00 p.m. EST.
Detroit guard Killian Hayes is the only player on either roster with a French background. Hayes called it a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” to be able to play an NBA game in his home country.
The Pistons have dropped two straight and five of their last six overall. They sit at just 12-and-35 overall.
The basketball world is mourning the loss of a three-time champion. Former Piston Chris Ford has died. He was 74.
The former Villanova star was drafted by the Pistons 17th overall in 1972. He spent 10 years in the NBA with Detroit and Boston before later coaching for several teams.
