Red Wings start road trip with 6-3 loss at Denver

DENVER, CO (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings were doubled up by the Avalanche 6-3 in Denver to open up their three-game road trip Monday.

Andrew Copp, Ben Chiarot, and David Perron scored for Detroit, which has dropped two in-a-row and five of its last seven overall.

The Red Wings visit Arizona tonight.
