KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — God’s Kitchen of Michigan is getting set to host a couple of free Community Christmas Dinners next week: One in Battle Creek, and one in Portage.
The first community dinner will be held in Battle Creek on Tuesday, December 20 at First United Methodist Church at 111 East Michigan Avenue from 4:30 to 6 p.m. And the second event will be on Wednesday, December 21 in Portage at Portage Chapel Hill Church at 7028 Oakland Drive from 5 until 6 p.m.
The menu will include honey ham, lobster tail, steak, mashed potatoes, cheesy broccoli, dessert and bottled water. All dinners served on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit one meal per person.
God’s Kitchen of Michigan is a nonprofit soup kitchen serving Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and Portage. All donations are deductible from federal income tax.
