DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Gas prices in Michigan dropped 20 cents compared to a week ago, with drivers now paying an average of $3.44 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 79 cents less than this time last month but still 18 cents more than this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $51 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; about the same as 2021’s highest price last November.
“Michigan gas prices continue to fall with motorists now paying almost 80 cents less than this time last month,” said Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson, AAA-The Auto Club Group. “As demand remains low and stocks grow, drivers will likely continue to see pump prices decrease through this week.”
