DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Red Wings rallied to force extra time only to fall in a shootout to the Buffalo Sabres 5-4 Wednesday night.
Oskar Sundqvist scored twice and David Perron also tallied during a three-goal third period that tied the game at four. Jonatan Berggren had the other goal for the Red Wings, who have earned a point in six of their last seven.
Detroit will wrap up their five-game homestand Saturday against the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
