DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Despite taking the early lead, the Detroit Red Wings were blown out at home by the New Jersey Devils Tuesday night 6-2.
After Dylan Larkin opened the scoring with his fourth of the season for the Red Wings, the Devils’ offensive explosion began. Dawson Mercer, Jack Hughes, Yegor Sharangovich and Nico Hischier found the back of the net for the Devils, and Jesper Bratt scored a pair of goals.
Dominik Kubalik also scored for Detroit, which fell to 3-1-and-2.
