Murder of 81-year-old woman being investigated by BC Police

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Battle Creek Police are investigating the murder of a 81-year-old woman and are asking the public for information.

Officers were called at about 5:45 p.m. on Saturday to a home in the 100 block of West Fountain Street after family members had found the woman unresponsive.

Police and EMS responded to the home, and confirmed the woman had died, and not of natural causes.

Battle Creek Police detectives and Crime Lab representatives responded to investigate the situation as a murder.
