EAST LANSING, MI — Michigan State University’s University Council has approved a no confidence vote in the MSU Board of Trustees. The tally was 85-6 and is the third university governing body to pass a no confidence vote.
The Board of Trustees is under fire for demands by some that now-former president Samuel Stanley resign. The Board of Trustees next meeting is October 28. It’s expected to issue an update on its search for a new school president.
