EAST LANSING, MI — Spartan spirit will hit the streets of East Lansing. Michigan State University’s Homecoming Parade will be held Friday night. This year’s theme is “Spartans Bring the Magic.” The parade will kick off at 6:00 p.m. Friday night.
The homecoming parade will begin at the intersection of Abbot Road and Burcham Drive, move south along Abbot Road, then turn east on Grand River Avenue through downtown East Lansing. The homecoming parade will end at the intersection of Farm and Shaw lanes.
Homecoming festivities will run all week on campus and in East Lansing. The “Green Glow” event asks alumni to swap out their porch lights – or any other lights – with a green bulb. Students can participate in Sparty’s Flag Find, where students can look for hidden flags across campus and win prizes, according to a press release from the school.
