FOXBORO, MA (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions head to Foxboro Sunday to square off with the New England Patriots.
Detroit has dropped two in-a-row to slip to 1-and-3 on the season. The Pats also enter the game at 1-and-3.
New England is closer to figuring out who they will start at quarterback Sunday against the Lions. New England placed veteran quarterback Brian Hoyer on injured reserve Thursday because of a concussion.
Second-year signal caller Mac Jones was limited during practice as he continues to work his way back from a high-ankle sprain.
If Jones is unable to play, Bailey Zappe, a fourth round pick out of Western Kentucky, will start this week’s game.
