ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The top five college football teams remain unchanged in the latest Coaches Poll.
The University of Georgia is still ranked first in the nation, followed by Alabama, Ohio State University, the University of Michigan, and Clemson.
After dropping their first game of the season, the Oklahoma Sooners fell 10 spots and are now ranked 16th in the country.
Minnesota is one of four teams to enter the top 25 this week. The Golden Gophers climbed nine spots and are now ranked 23rd. Texas, Michigan State University, Florida and Miami were the four teams to drop out of the rankings.
The University of Michigan topped Maryland 34-27 at home Saturday. It was a tough Saturday for Michigan State University. The Spartans fell 34-7 at home to Minnesota.
In the MAC, Western Michigan University lost at San Jose State 34-6, Central Michigan University lost at Penn State 33-14, while Eastern Michigan University was beaten by Buffalo 50-31.
